New District Highlights

Name | Olympic Valley Alpine Meadows Microtransit District (OVAMMD)

Boundary | Olympic Valley and Alpine Meadows | no change from current District

Term Duration | 5 years | February 1, 2023 - January 31, 2028

The current term for SV|AM MMTD will be modified to end early on January 31, 2023 to allow the renewed OVAMMD to start February 1, 2023.

Assessments | One-half Percent Increase to 1.5% on:

Olympic Valley Alpine Meadows lodging including short-term rentals

Palisades Tahoe daily lift tickets

Palisades Tahoe pack products

Timeline* Overview:

Project Start Date | June 13, 2022

Develop Management District Plan (MDP) and Petition | by July 30, 2022

New MDP approved by Placer County Staff | by August 30, 2022

Petition Drive | beginning by early September 2022

Submit Petitions representing 50%+ assessments to Placer County | by Sept. 12, 2022

Placer County Board of Supervisors Initial Hearing | by October 11, 2022

Placer County Board of Supervisors Public Meeting | by November 8, 2022

Placer County Board of Supervisors Public Hearing | by December 6, 2022

District is renewed and 1.5% Assessment Collections Begin | by February 1, 2023
